Belfairs Post 16 Centre is an expanding and well regarded centre for Further Education studies, offering a wide range of courses at Level 2 and Level 3.
Our Specialist Status of Media Arts means our facilities for Media, Film Studies and Art and Design courses including Photography are second to none in the area.
As part of the Southend Collaboration, we are able to design Individual Study Programmes catered to match the needs of most students whatever their chosen range of subjects.
Our links with Tiffany’s Theatre College are an exciting development and have enhanced our provision greatly.
Our results show year on year improvements and we have an enviable completion rate for our courses.
Students are able to study for GCSEs in English and Mathematics along with Level 2 ICT in conjunction with their Core Studies. An extended curriculum in Finance, Sexual and Emotional Health, Study Skills and Cooking on a Budget is integral to each Students’ programme.
A full time Learning Mentor is available to offer support and advice along with the full range of Inclusion services and EAL. This enhances our inclusive entry policy.
